Growing by 221% over the past three years helped land Fresno-based Business Computer Technology Consulting, Inc. a spot on Inc. Magazine’s top 5,000 Fastest Growing Companies.
The top 5,000 list is part of the September issue that features the Inc. 500, which would be the top 10% of the list. BCT came in ranked No. 1,329 on the list, as it saw its revenue increase from $673,820 in 2006 to $2.2 million in 2009. Within the IT services industry, it was ranked 144th.
“A company’s growth can be both a blessing and a curse,” BCT president Eric Rawn told Businesswire.com. “It’s amazing the amount of companies that fail because they grow too fast.”
BCT describes itself on its website as “a managed services provider of computer network support, web design, application programming and other technology services.”
California State University, Fresno, graduate Eric Rawn founded BCT in 1996 and still serves as the president.
